Pencak silat is the original culture of the Indonesian nation which has developed rapidly both domestically and abroad. As heirs to our nation's culture, we have a responsibility to preserve it, both individually and in groups/colleges. It is hoped that there will be a strong and qualified young generation that can make the nation proud.

The development of pencak silat needs serious attention from the government and all parties to be more intensive in fostering pencak silat achievements at the national, ASEAN to international levels. Amid the incessant martial arts colleges that are currently developing and pencak silat in particular, as a member of the Indonesian Pencak Silat Association (IPSI), the Student Activity Unit of TAPAK SUCI Sebelas Maret University, through the TAPAK SUCI SEMAR V 2023 National Championship, which held at Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta, seeks to produce Tapak Suci athletes who are outstanding, tough and sporty to contribute to the Tapak Suci College in particular and the nation in general.

The fact proves that Tapak Suci athletes have been able to speak at the national and international levels. By involving all adult Tapak Suci fighters globally, namely at the international level, it is hoped that the quality of martial arts will be achieved which characterizes the greatness of the Indonesian nation's culture and can preserve and develop widely and make the name of Tapak Suci proud as a part of the nation's culture that should be preserved and developed on the international stage.

More than that, we hope that this activity will bring benefits to all parties who participate in making it successful. We are sure that Allah SWT blesses all the hard work and efforts that we do, so that this activity can run even better in the future and bring more benefits to all of us.
